When you look up John Sununu’s name in the dictionary…

I’ve spent my career listening to people across New Hampshire, and lately I keep hearing the same thing: Washington has a corruption problem.
Politicians like John Sununu aren’t working for working families — they’re working for the wealthy and well-connected.
Granite Staters have a right to be angry. Corruption is out in the open in Washington. Donald Trump has added $2 billion to his net worth and traded more stocks than every member of Congress combined.
And John Sununu is no different. When you look up corruption in the dictionary, you’ll see a photo of Sununu.
Sununu went to Washington 25 years ago. And while he was there, he voted on issues that mattered to Wall Street, Big Oil, and Big Pharma.
He voted FOUR times against lowering prescription drug prices. He sided with the insurance industry, and he voted for a $700 billion Wall Street bailout.
Then he was voted out of office and cashed in with those same industries, making up to $35 million.
John Sununu walked right through Washington’s revolving door, and Granite Staters are the ones who paid the costs.
There is only one candidate in this race who will bring a new generation of leadership to the Senate, change the way Washington works, and deliver for New Hampshire — not the special interests.
Public service should be about the people who sent you there, not about cashing in. That’s the difference between John Sununu and me:
I don’t take corporate PAC money. Not a dime.
I support banning stock trading in Congress. I broke with my own party’s leadership on this, because when you write the laws, you shouldn’t be investing in the industries they affect.
I’m fighting to get dark money out of politics. I introduced legislation requiring big spenders to disclose who’s behind the money, and I support overturning Citizens United.
I’m working to close the revolving door in Washington. That includes a lifetime lobbying ban for former members who work for foreign governments.
There’s a reason John Sununu’s campaign is being propped up by the same special interests he voted for while in Congress. They know that he will continue to put Big Oil, Big Pharma, and Wall Street ahead of Granite Staters.
New Hampshire needs a senator who will put working people and families first, not side with corporate special interests.
But if we don’t match the millions in outside spending with grassroots support, corporate special interests will buy this open Senate seat.
This race is close, and Election Day is coming fast. Every contribution before then helps us get our message to voters in every corner of the state.
This campaign is powered by grassroots supporters, not corporate PACs. Thank you for standing with us. 16 days to go.
