Something spooky is on the ballot (John Sununu)
Halloween is right around the corner. But few things are spookier than the thought of John Sununu heading back to the Senate.
Election Day is just 12 days away, and Sununu and Republicans are counting on Granite Staters to look the other way. We can’t let that happen.
Donald Trump hand-picked John Sununu to run here in New Hampshire, because Trump knows that Sununu is the GOP’s best shot at flipping a Senate seat anywhere in the country. That’s why Republicans and their allies are spending more than $60 million to buy this seat for him, betting that a famous political name and a lot of outside money will be enough.
This race is neck and neck, and I’m counting on this team to help us keep up. If you can chip in $5, $15, or whatever works for you to help us compete with the dark money pouring into New Hampshire.
Sununu’s record is the scariest thing on the ballot. Here’s a quick reminder of what’s at stake:
John Sununu said this race is “important to President Trump’s agenda.” Trump and MAGA Republicans are backing Sununu, because they know he’ll rubber-stamp their extreme agenda, even when it doesn’t serve New Hampshire.
He’ll sell out Granite Staters. John Sununu voted to serve corporate special interests like Wall Street, Big Pharma, and Big Oil — then cashed in with those same industries as his net worth surged by up to $35 million.
He has deep pockets behind him. More than $60 million is flowing in from Republicans and their allies, including Trump’s No Going Back PAC, the Koch network, and Elon Musk. We need the resources to make sure Granite Staters hear the truth about his record.
The contrast is clear. But with 12 days left, we don’t have much time to make our case to every voter.
And the stakes go beyond our state. If we fall short, Democrats have no chance at flipping the Senate. But if we stand together, we can show once again that New Hampshire is not for sale: not to John Sununu and not to the out-of-state billionaires backing him.
Next weekend, doorbells all across New Hampshire will be ringing with trick-or-treaters. Between now and Election Day, our team will be knocking on doors, too, talking with neighbors and making sure voters know the truth about John Sununu’s record.
Every dollar helps us get our message out and fight for a New Hampshire that puts Granite Staters first.
Thank you for everything you’re doing. Happy Halloween, and let’s get to work.
