Tonight’s debate

In a few hours, I’ll walk onto the WMUR debate stage and face John Sununu for the last time before Election Day.

My team and I are in the final stretch of prep, and I wanted to write to you directly before it starts: If you can swing it, will you chip in $15 before I take the stage tonight?

Here’s why tonight matters: This is our last debate before the election, and one of our final opportunities to show Granite Staters exactly who John Sununu is.

1. John Sununu went to Washington 25 years ago and voted with Big Pharma against lower drug prices and for a $700 billion Wall Street bailout. Then he made up to $35 million after cashing in with those same industries.

2. Sununu is the lead architect of a plan to privatize Social Security, gamble it on the stock market, add trillions of dollars to our debt, and allow Wall Street to charge fees on the backs of New Hampshire workers. Then he was just caught on tape saying that he is willing to privatize Social Security again if he goes back to the Senate.

3. If elected Sununu would rubber stamp Donald Trump’s reckless agenda. The same agenda that has given us skyrocketing oil, gas, and diesel prices; endless war; and reckless tariffs that cost Granite State households $5,300 more.

John Sununu has Trump’s personal endorsement and the full backing of national Republicans who are spending more than $66 million to get him elected and buy this seat.

We don’t have any of that.

I don’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. What powers this campaign is a movement of Granite Staters and grassroots supporters who chip in what they can when they can, and I want to walk onto that stage tonight with all of that momentum on my side.

We need to keep that momentum going; which is why we’ve set a debate goal of $100,000 raised by midnight tonight. A strong show of support tonight tells everyone, including my opponent, that this campaign is powered by New Hampshire, not the billionaires.

Every dollar we raise goes toward defending this open Senate seat and taking back the majority for Democrats.

With Election Day around the corner, every moment counts. Will you chip in $15 or whatever you can before I step on stage?
